Ørsteds demonstration of one of their ProZero USV´s at the maritime Conference Digital@Sea hosted by Danish Maritime Authority in Copenhagen Denmark. Although the USV´s from Tuco Marine ApS – ProZero Workboats are fully offshore capable vessels it was a pleasure to see this close to shore in the city of Copenhagen.
The highly complex 8m long ProZero vessel features a very high level of onboard technology, the vessel is an unmanned and remotely controlled vessel and is used for testing related to the offshore wind power industry.
The 8m USV is based on the well proven ProZero hull platform, built in composite materials and features a double engine installation for maximum redundancy.
The vessel features specialized technology and remote-controlled deck equipment that enables the vessel to operate at sea without humans onboard for several months.
